Chapter 6 : Mom's Birthday!

Don't worry, I didn't wish her late, just late posting of the food photos. We did pre-lunch and celebrated with her sister and family after few days. My mom is seriously annoying, angry everytime, showed so much attitudes with negative point-of-views ( she is a virgo!) but she is smart, a fighter, a kind-hearted lady with soft-heart and easily get heart-broken. She is the oldest with two sisters whom she is fully protected and guided since they were a kid. It was her childhood life and the way people treated her is what made her negative sides took over her life more. But whom to blame, when people look down at her, when she carried her sisters in the war and when she had to help her family to pick and feed her sisters. A very strong independent woman who won't look down at man, who had proven the world through her career life!

Just a simple tip, NEVER give a surprise to virgo! They like the highlight but they hate surprises. See, even when I gave her that cake, she sorted like "why cake" ha-ha-ha! but since the cake is so pretty, she won't said much! And oh especially in buying a virgo presents, on't hestitate to just ask and get what they want directly. For this year, she kept mentioning about owning a new mobile phone, touch screen with what's app application to be installed. Yes madam - your wish is my command. She gets her though - thank you love!

The Pre-celebration is about steak and spaghetti at Willie's brothers. We ate on my birthday and on her pre-birthday too. I wanted to try their famous cheese steak that's happening but it was too late. We didn't expect their sausage spaghetti would be that yummy! Mom isn't a big fan of cheese but she finished 3/4 of the plate and tha't something, hey! The steak is alright, decent for the taste and price and i love their asian sauce or whatever it's called.

I love their place with good service even it was so hectic on the time we came. And of course, I won't mind to return again!

Since mom wanted to have chinese food for her real birthday celebration with her first sister and their family, she chosen Ming Dining at Senayan City. Please ignore my big tummy after heavy food and look at her smile! Well, as long the queen is happy, that would just be all alright! Anyway, the whole family had no complains about the food taste except me - the choosy ones.

Personally, based on my experience, this restaurant is being over-rated by many. The service is slow, the price is pricy and the food taste is ordinary and lack of spices. The peking duck, chicken and the lotus pao is good but the rest are tasteless! As for me, I won't be coming back again; however, i won't mind to eat Ming at Epicentrum Walk - they are delicious! The Duck King is still my preference.
