Chapter 8 : TV Series Review

Oh yeah! my favourite tv series are back for new season and here are my reviews :

I wasn't aware that Gotham new season is back. The introduction of the season is quite strong, on how everyone seemed so mature and you get this chill that this season is going to be a lot better than the previous ones. The introduction of a boy who look exactly like young Bruce Wayne, followed with the transformation of Poison Ivy, penguin is more powerful along with the changes of Gordon who becomes a bounty hunter instead. I've watched two episodes and so far, I'm hooked like the previous ones. Personally, I think this season 3 is the introduction of new villains, showing the darker side of Gotham and the other side of Jim Gordon. Totally looking forward for the remaining episodes! 

CUTE and that's the best word to describe their pilot. I don't think I should spoiled them because the twist is what made it adorable. Really, I had no expectation when I  watched it, just got curious by the review. It's started with people who have shared the same birthday and later, focused toward Jack and his wife, who's pregnant with triples. 

I watched their second episode and it's even gets more cute. The problem, If I tell the storyline, it'll be a total spoiler. Yes, it's about parenthood and brother-sister-hood and it's like "how I met your mother" kind of storytelling (present, past and vice-versa). 

O ye! The handsome Lucifer is back. Again, I wasn't expected the season would be back sooner. "Everything's Coming Up Lucifer" , is the title for the first episode. This episode is all about Lucifer got so dead worried of not being able to find his mother (known as Charlotte) and you can see clearly, how scared he is. He linked the murder case and so confident that it was his mother who did it and suspected few people as posses by his mother too. Let's see how the remaining episode goes whether it would be better / as good as the first one! For sure, Lucifer look chubbier and more charming. 

I'm happy all the favourite ones are back. Alex Perish is back and this time it's about her training-life at the CIA. Ryan wanted to propose her and suddenly she got a mysterious call. As soon as she followed the instruction, she and some others selected people are being called by the CIA for a training and Ryan came late - both of them shocked to find out that they'll be working together again! . 

Just like the previous ones,  there are two timelines (future and past). Really, it was good at the first half, but then you can see the patterns of an exact copy like the first season. I'm expecting something different like more actions and twisted story and my interest is just slightly lost after the first episode finished. Anyway,  let's wait and watch the whole episodes in this season.

The title is just eye-catchy and I have watched two episodes. By far, I like the way they introduced Vanessa Helsing - a distant relative of Abraham Van Helsing. A group of soldier protected her for few years, waiting for her awakes from her long sleep! The doctor and others are believed that she is the solution for the humanity's problem started in 2016. And after she woke up, she wanted to look for her daughter. The story is more like collaboration between vampires and zombies overruled the world.

In the first and second episodes, there were a zombie and a vampire who turned into a human again after they bite her. The premier was more about the zombies but the second ones is more about the vampires.

My prediction for this show, it may ended up weird in the end of the season. It's great combining these two, but then, if zombies and vampires take over the rule, how would people survived? Or perhaps, people only know there are zombies only. But anyway, I would love to continue watching and this show seems to be getting a good rating later. So far, I'm giving 7.5/10, not that bad as you may imagine (zombie and vampire), it is good, entertaining and a bit of thrill.
