Intention is the word that came out from my mind that I would to share my thought about it. Intention (noun) is something you want and plan to do according to Cambridge's dictionary. Somehow, it is related to the previous topic called promises. Whatever we are telling what we want to do if we have this, if we have that , those kinds of beautiful sentences that we are giving strong intention towards it, you would say "... at least he/she have good intention" but you know intention will just forever be an intention, an imaginary plan, until we respond and take action. Intention is the first step, the first acknowledge but often in times, we manipulate other's people mind or we get manipulated by theirs.
How many times have we manipulating an intention? It is okay to be honest to yourself because I'm sure the answer would be many times, and now, brutally speaking, how many times others (even the closest ones) manipulated an intention toward us? Precisely, everyone love those beautiful intentions given by the special ones or we give to our loved ones, until either them or us, forget that we are drowning ourself into those intentions; believing, dreaming, hoping, waiting and expecting. Ask yourself, how long have you been waiting for those good intention(s) given by your loved ones? Imagine, if those intention gave them strength and the same intention crushed them down?
It begins with intention, then it becomes dream and from becoming a dream, it gives hope, and when we are hopeful, we tend to make promises. But remember, it begins with a single thought that either you are willing to do or just make-up those intentions to make certain people happy. They say the thought that count the most, but later , we realize, its the same thought that either build / destroy us. It is really easy to manipulate an intention, but action speaks louder than words even we may misunderstood about it. Intention is an imagination and without an effort of taking an action, it stays only in your/ other people's mind.
What's the different between intention and promise? Well for example from my personal experience : someone said "I really want to come and meet you, but whenever I want to do , there is something happen "and this is called an intention. While the promised he said before he left was "when I'm getting a job in China, I'll be this, give you that, etc". Intention is a thought, promise is when you make an agreement.
For long I believe well at least, those good intentions made me believe that "he is so sweet to have a good intention to meet me up, there is a willingness", but now, it have been two years passed by, and that particular simple intention, never happened even the person has money because priority has changed. Intention is more like a story-telling while we are the listener; while promise is like a confirmation for the intention and we are the receiver of the action. Yes, his intention is good, give hope and strength while the promise made me feel that our relationship gets better in time when career and success is not an issue. But what I don't realize and what other may don't realize that whether an intention or promise requires confirmation and affirmation.
Do you realize that, everything has an expired date. Whoever make good intention and promises to you or to whomever you make an intention and promise to, make sure it has due date even if we are the one who made the intention. I know you can't predict everything, but in case you forgot, with strong determination , strong believe, and with honesty, eventually, every intention, every promise, will come true. It is a matter of priority and priority changes overtime. Nothing wrong with the intention nor the promise, but it is wrong, if we keep believing or make us believing in it. A person with true intention, will make the thought becoming reality; a journey to make it real with a dateline given.
What if the person keep giving you intention(s)? It is upon you to ask your heart.
What if I'm the one who give the wrong intention? Think if you were in their position, what'd you expect? Probably an apology not an excuse or another extra intention.
Remember that in the end, Karma will served us; If we are keep making beautiful intentions but ended up with doing nothing about it, then you are planting more of bad seeds because you are keep lying only to please them. Knowing the truth is sickening sometimes, but perhaps, if you explain it well or getting the right explanation, everything will be good in the end. Some tears may dropped, some bad words and attitudes may come up, lots of arguments and angers in between, but remember, being honest and say sorry is gracious. Just be ready for the consequences because you can not keep doing what is wrong if you do not have the capability, do not have the willingness to do, and you care less about it.
And one more thing : DON'T BLAME TIME! Oh no, no, don't you dare! Time keeps ticking 24 hours, whether you sleep or awake. Time doesn't go anywhere, Time forever stays. Time is right, if you are trust in GOD, in the Universe, and you trust yourself in giving the best effort(s). Time will served you right, if you appreciate them.
If money matters, then start saving!
If relationship matters, then start apologizing!
If health matters, then start fixing yourself!
If success matters, then start fighting!
If you matters, then start changing!
If he/she matters, then start loving!
Whatever, whoever matters, then start reacting!
Time doesn't deserved to be loathed! It's us who changed through situations, it is us who changed our priorities, it is us who changed, and it is time who stayed. So be careful with intention, it may just a bullshit or random talks/thought for you, but for the ones who heard, feel differently. Don't break a heart that is fragile, don't destroy a dream that is beautifully created by the memories treasured.
