WONDER WOMAN
One of 2017 movies that everyone has been waiting for with high expectations would turned out awesome. Honestly, you know, when the trailers were good, the movie would probably ended up crap. So, I didn't have any expectation for Wonder Woman except hoping it would just be good enough, packed with the light actions as I would remembered about the older version of Wonder Woman (ha! I'm that old!). Well, I ended up loving the movie since the beginning - I was amazed by the setting and I didn't know that there was a land full of wonder women! So, a great introduction of Wonder Woman!
Gal Gadot did an awesome acting, deserved standing applause and I guess, people may not have that much guess that she would had taken her role rightly. It's the right role, and she even created today's wonder woman image - strong, bold, wise and innocent.I love everything about this movie, although there are few scenes when it got a bit boring due to less actions (where its supposed to be more).
Just like the sub-title said "JUSTICE BEGINS WITH HER", and this Wonder Woman movie is about the beginning of Wonder Woman ; a young lady name Diana, the princess of the Amazons, who thought that she could stopped Aries (The God's of war) ; who were so eager to look for Aries, to stop the wars , to fulfill her destiny - to kill Aries once for all. She came to the human world and for once she believed that "human don't deserved her", but suddenly, the love of an American Pilot, Steve, who were a spy changed it all.
I'm sure, definitely, there'll be a sequel and looking forward for it. Whether its from the storyline, the acting, the cinematography, I rate this movie 9/10. It's truly entertaining with full packed of actions and the only thing I don't like is the main character of the villain that could had been portrayed as more powerful, more story, rather than just popped up out of no where. Other than that, this movie is perfect enough - totally must to watch ; highly recommended and gosh, I feel so proud to be a woman hahaha!
King Arthur - The Legend of the Sword
Hm! I love King Arthur and I love his story so of course I was eager to watch this remake directed by Guy Ritchie. At first, I thought this movie would be booming, but hey, my friends who watched it, didn't have much comment about it and I just know why. I felt like watching a fast-forward movie instead; very jumpy.
The director squeezed everything in two hours where I think it would be just best to make it in two parts. Sadly, with that much actions, this movie isn't worthy enough to be watched in cinema. A rate of 4.5/10 I could give for the lack of storyline and standard acting though it went hype for the Arthur's character. .
This is a story about the young Arthur whose uncle scarfed his love ones by asking the power from the darkness to kill Arthur's father so Vortigern could became the king. Little Arthur saw the brutal killing of his father and managed to escape, landed in a city and adopted by bunch of women. Arthur lived in a harsh life but that's what made him stronger. Only watch when there's nothing else to watch!
GUARDIAN OF THE GALAXY VOL 2
OMG, you had no idea how excited I were for this movie so I would definitely be biased in giving a rate of 10/10! What not to love from Guardian of the Galaxy except more laughter and less actions. Even now, I can't wait for the Vol. 3! I don't think I have nothing much to comment, it's just perfect. You can get the laughter, the action, the sadness, the adorable romance, those aww so cute moments with the innocent of Baby Groot and snobby Rocket!
This Vol. 2 is more about that finally Peter Quill found his beloved dad who wanted to take over the whole planets. But its all began with Rocket, the trouble maker who stole the most precious batteries and they were all chased by the Sovereign. While they were struggling, a mysterious ship saved them , a human has saved them, a human that turned up to be Peter Quill's father with his assistant, The Mantis.
There are scenes where it would just instantly touched your heart; or suddenly you could just smile or laugh, then you get all this mixed emotions but throughout the whole 2 hours-ish, I truly enjoyed. I love it when the storyline is so simple that even a kid can just understand easily, but the characters are being portrayed strongly that you feel that you just know them already. The right movie to watch with anyone including just with yourself. It's more than just entertaining, but you'll also learn something such as "sometimes the one whom you're looking so hard is just right the one next to you! ". PERFECT :)
